Chennai (Tamil Nadu) [India], August 23 (ANI): Heavyweights will collide when former winners Dabang Delhi TTC take on U Mumba TT in the teams’ first tie of the Ultimate Table Tennis 2024 season at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai on Saturday.
Saturday, another doubleheader day, will also witness defending champions Athlead Goa Challengers play debutants Ahmedabad SG Pipers in the pair’s respective second tie of the fifth season.
The franchise-based league is promoted by Niraj Bajaj and Vita Dani under the auspices of the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI). Szocs, the highest-ranked female paddler in IndianOil UTT 2024 will particularly relish her potential clash against the Australian Liu, who hasn’t lost a match since the start of the previous season.
The first tie of the day will take place at 17:00 local time, while the second is scheduled to begin at 19:30.
