New Delhi [India], August 19 (ANI): On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, which commemorates the unforgettable bond between brothers and sisters, school students on Monday tied ‘Rakhi’ to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and interacted with him.
The major highlight of the event was when students tied ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ theme-based rakhis to him and also discussed about their potential contribution to PM Modi’s vision of Vikshit Bharat.
A student emphasising PM Modi’s Vikshit Bharat vision asked how they can contribute to it, on which PM Modi said one should be healthy, hygienic, focus on studies and be generous with others.
Meanwhile, students also sang Rakhi-based songs for PM Modi and joyously hugged him.
Furthermore, PM Modi also congratulated the students and extended his wishes to the public on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
Interacting with a student who tied ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ rakhi, PM asked applauded her creativity.

I pray to God that this festival of our sacred culture may fill everyone’s life with happiness, good fortune and prosperity,” Nadda posted on X.
