Kurukshetra (Haryana) [India], September 22 (ANI): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers on September 26.
Speaking to ANI, Nayab Singh Saini said, “PM Modi will address the BJP workers of Haryana on September 26 via the Namo App. I urge all workers and the public to join in large numbers and listen to PM Modi’s thoughts. The BJP’s double-engine government will continue working for Haryana’s development.”
On Saturday, Prime Minister Modi announced the ‘Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot’ programme, during which he will engage with BJP workers, volunteers, and supporters from Haryana.
Modi will interact with party workers on September 26 at around 12:30 PM via the Namo App, according to a post on X (formerly Twitter).
In the post, PM Modi shared a link and invited questions and suggestions from supporters ahead of the ‘Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot’ interactive session.
“Our workers, volunteers, and supporters have pledged to make the lotus bloom at every booth in the upcoming Haryana assembly elections,” PM Modi wrote on X. “We will have the privilege of interacting with them during the ‘Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot’ programme on September 26 at around 12:30 PM through the Namo App. Do send your questions and suggestions.”
On Friday, September 20, Haryana’s Chief Electoral Officer Pankaj Agarwal stated that the Election Commission of India, along with the Chief Electoral Officer’s office, has introduced special measures to increase voter turnout in the 15th Haryana Legislative Assembly General Election on October 5, compared to the last election.
Voters are being encouraged to participate through various SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) activities, including slogan writing, painting, street plays, and poster making.
Voting for the 90-member Haryana Legislative Assembly will take place on October 5, with counting scheduled for October 8, along with that of Jammu and Kashmir. (ANI)
