“Hypocrisy, drama”: Shivraj Singh Chouhan lashes out at AAP – World News Network

New Delhi [India], January 8 (ANI): Amid ruckus over the Delhi Chief Minister’s residence, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday lashed out at the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), saying that “hypocrisy” and “drama” were in its DNA.
“Hypocrisy and drama are in the DNA of AAP. They did drama earlier too that they do not need a house and now there is a fight for houses. People understand this drama very well and are done with this hypocrisy. AAP’s real face is exposed,” Chouhan told ANI.
Speaking on the One Nation One Election issue, Chouhan said that constant elections were a hurdle to the country’s development since the preparations for elections go round the year.
“I would thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi because every decision he takes is in the nation’s interest. The constant elections are a hurdle to the country’s development. We are always preparing for elections, the entire 12 months,” the Union Minister said.
Chouhan’s reaction to AAP comes as huge ruckus followed after Saurabh Bharadwaj and Sanjay Singh got into a stand-off with the Delhi police who blocked their entry inside Chief Minister’s residence. The AAP leaders had marched to the Delhi CM’s residence earlier today to refute the claims made by the BJP.
Labelling the CM’s bungalow as ‘Sheesh Mahal’, the BJP had claimed that the Chief Minister’s residence had swimming pools and a golden commode.
After this the AAP leaders reached the Prime Minister’s residence on Wednesday after trying to enter the Delhi CM’ residence and challenging the BJP to show the PM’s residence to the public.
After being denied entry, Saurabh Bharadwaj said, “We came here to conclude this argument of ‘tera ghar, mera ghar’. We said that the PM residence and CM residence should both be shown to the people. So, we came here.” (ANI)
