Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], April 22 (ANI): India’s financial capital, Mumbai, is set to witness a major buzz around Chhattisgarh on April 23 and 24 when Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai participates in two major national-level events focusing on the textile and steel industries.
According to a statement by the Chhattisgarh Chief Minister’s Office, at these platforms, he will present Chhattisgarh’s new industrial policy, investment opportunities, and infrastructure vision to top industrialists and policymakers from across the country. The events are being organised at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon, Mumbai.
On April 23, the Chief Minister will participate in the CMAI Fab Show, one of the most prestigious events organised by the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI). The show brings together key stakeholders from textile manufacturing, exports, and branding.
The Chhattisgarh Chief Minister will showcase the special provisions and investment prospects for the textile sector under Chhattisgarh’s new industrial policy. It is also expected that several major companies may sign investment MoUs with the state during the event.
As per the statement, April 24 will be a landmark day as the Chief Minister attends the inaugural ceremony of India Steel 2025 as a special guest. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the event via video conferencing. CM Shri Sai will deliver a keynote address highlighting Chhattisgarh’s new industrial policy, the infrastructure available for the steel sector, and the state’s plans in this area.
On the same day, a Chhattisgarh Round Table Meeting will also be held, where the Chief Minister will have direct interactions with potential investors. Discussions will cover topics such as special industrial clusters for the steel industry, logistics support, single-window clearances, and labour policies.
The Chief Minister will also visit the Chhattisgarh State Pavilion set up at the Bombay Exhibition Centre. The pavilion will offer comprehensive information on the state’s industrial infrastructure, investment opportunities, and policy support, designed to attract industrialists and entrepreneurs to Chhattisgarh.
Chief Minister Sai is slated to address mediapersons on both days, April 23 and 24, around 1 PM at the event venue. He will speak on the purpose of his visit, key features of the new industrial policy, and the steps being taken by the State government to attract investments. He will also take questions from journalists. (ANI)
