New Delhi [India], October 15 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Tuesday dismissed a petition against former Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi and after being irked with the petitioner, asked security to take him out from the courtroom.
A bench of justices Bela M Trivedi and Satish Chandra Sharma refused to entertain a plea filed by one Arun Ramchandra Hublikar. As the court was not convinced by the petitioner’s argument, Hublikar insisted the court hear him. Thereafter there was some heated exchange between the judges and petitioner which led to the court to call the security personnel to take him out of the courtroom.
Hublikar has filed a petition against ex-CJI Gogoi. Hubilkar claimed before the court that his life had been made miserable by the ex-CJI Gogoi’s interference in an order which was passed in his favour regarding his illegal termination.
But the court did not show any interest to hear his plea and advised him not to use the name of judge. The top court also remarked that there is nothing in his case. However Hubllikar insisted the court hear his plea and keep blaming the former judge.
The top court said that it may impose costs on the petitioner. The top court also said sorry as it cannot interfere. But Hublikar kept addressing the court and said that his life has become miserable due to the court. The court said that if he speaks any word further then he will be sent out of the courtroom. But Hublikar didn’t stop. Thereafter the court called the security to escort him out of the courtroom.
This was not the first time that Hublikar faced the court’s ire. Earlier Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud questioned him for filing a petition with a judge as a party in the case. (ANI)
