Guwahati (Assam) [India], September 22 (ANI): Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday held a meeting with the surrendered leaders of the National Democratic Front of Boroland (NDFB) to deliberate on key issues concerning employment and socio-economic development.
The discussions also focused on reviewing the government’s initiatives aimed at empowering the surrendered NDFB members and ensuring their self-reliance, with the objective of further enhancing the economic well-being of those who have rejoined the mainstream.
The Chief Minister also held a meeting with the leaders of the All Bodo Students Union to review the progress of the Bodo Peace Accord 2020.
During the meeting, the Assam Chief Minister had a detailed discussion on the implementation of various clauses of the Accord.
